DORAL renewable energy, the coordinator of the of the Yotvata green hydrogen valley consortium, is looking for partners from Europe to jointly submit a proposal to HORIZON-JTI-CLEANH2-2022 -06-02: H2 Valleys (small-scale).
The Yotvata green hydrogen valley will be the first green hydrogen project in Israel. New technology, such as E-TAC by H2Pro will be used and the foreseen green hydrogen production is expected to be the most efficient in the world.
The consortium is led by Doral and includes, among others, H2Pro, INGL, Eilat Eilot renewable energy, Strauss (Yotvata), as well as partners from Europe.
An ongoing pilot study of the Israeli partners (Phase 1), supported by the Israeli Ministry of Energy, will start H2 production at the end of 2023 with a capacity of 400kw. The first off-taker of the produced hydrogen will be a the dairy Yotvata of Strauss (blending up to 20% with compressed natural gas (CNG)). In phase 2 (planned for 2025), production of H2 will be scaled up to 10-30 MW, and will be used by additional off-takers, such as a gas station and industrial partners.
Doral is looking for parents from the EU for:
- Engineering companies with optimization systems
- Hydrogen production Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) contractor
- Companies that compress and store hydrogen
