ReStart Biotech, an Israeli start-up with a mission to radically change outcomes of breast conserving surgery. The company developed a patent protected polymer which replaces the tumor removed during surgery. This facilitates breast tissue regrowth whilst absorbing the polymer and returning the breast to its original condition. The medical and cosmetic results of ReStart Biotech's procedure are dramatically better than current procedures.
Aim: Characterization of the regrowth effects of the polymer.
In vitro biological characterization of the polymer will be carried out in mice, rat and human cells. These experiments will be to optimize the polymer composition and its structure.
Dutch partners looked for:
ReStart Biotech is looking for a Dutch contract research lab to carry out in vitro experiments in 3T3 mouse embryonic fibroblast cell lines, GFAP+-3T3 cells, rat derived ADSCs cell and in human mature adipocytes. First small-scale experiments will be carried out, which will be followed by larger experiments. The company's aim is to receive Helsinki approval for its technology.
